Nuptia helps you plan your wedding calmly. We collect as little as we can to make the app work, we don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising. This policy explains what we collect and why.

When you plan with Nuptia you create wedding details — names, dates, locations, budget figures, vendor notes, your guest list, RSVPs, meal choices, and a seating chart. This planning data is primarily stored on your device. Some of it is synced through our backend so that you and your partner see a consistent, up-to-date plan across your sessions. We do not use this content for any purpose other than running the app for you.
Your message — along with the relevant wedding context needed to answer it (such as your budget or date) — is sent over an encrypted connection through our own secure relay to Google's Gemini models, which generate the response and return it to you. We do not sell your messages and we do not use them to show you ads. Gemini processes the request to generate a reply; under our arrangements it is not used to train the model. As with any cloud AI service, please avoid sending information you would not want processed off your device.
If you join the early-access waitlist on our website, we store the email address you submit so we can tell you when Nuptia launches. If you collect RSVPs through Nuptia, responses are stored securely on our backend using unique per-guest tokens. Guests can only view and edit their own individual response; your master guest list is never publicly visible or accessible to other web visitors. You can ask us to delete any server-side data at any time.
To prevent abuse of the AI Concierge and our servers, Nuptia uses Apple's App Attest to confirm requests come from a genuine, unmodified copy of the app, and we apply rate limits. This involves device-level attestation tokens, not your personal wedding content.
Any paid subscription or purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your card details. Apple shares limited purchase information with us so we can unlock the features you paid for.
Planning data stored on your device is removed when you delete the app from that device. For data held on our servers — such as a waitlist signup or RSVP responses — email support@nuptia.wedding and we will delete it. We keep server-side data only as long as needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations.
Nuptia is intended for adults planning a wedding and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If we make material changes, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Nuptia after a change means you accept the revised policy.
