No. Nuptia is built local-first and privacy-first. Your wedding planning data — checklists, budgets, guest lists, seating charts, and notes — is stored on your device and synced securely across your Apple devices using Apple's CloudKit/iCloud. We do not store your private photos or build behavioral profiles on central databases. Any inspiration images you share with the AI Concierge are processed in real-time to assist you and are not retained to train public AI models.
Never. We do not sell data to advertisers, wedding venues, or third-party brokers, nor do we run third-party analytics trackers. You will never receive unsolicited sales pitches or targeted vendor emails as a result of using Nuptia.
Yes. Privacy is built directly into our RSVP architecture. Each guest is issued a unique, unguessable personal link so they can view and respond only to their own invitation (and their own table or dietary options if shared). Nuptia never publishes or exposes your full guest list, and guests cannot view or search for other attendees on the website.
No. Nuptia is not a payment gateway or banking platform. We never collect, store, or touch your credit card or financial account numbers. All app purchases and subscriptions are handled 100% securely through Apple's standard App Store / Mac App Store billing. For your wedding vendors, you pay them directly through the payment methods you agree upon together.
No. We believe binding contracts and payments should always remain squarely in your control. Nuptia cannot sign agreements, place deposits, or book venues directly.
While Nuptia does not send binding bookings, the AI Concierge will draft customized inquiry emails, outreach messages, or phone scripts tailored to your specific budget, guest count, style, and availability date. You can review, tweak, and send these messages to vendors in one tap via your preferred email client or messaging app.
No. Nuptia is created by calmdownoscar, an independent studio guided by one core thesis: take a stressful moment and make it calm. We explicitly ban engagement-maximizing patterns — no daily streaks, no artificial countdown panics, and no notification spam. Our success metric is simple: you finish what you came to do and put your phone down.
No. Your guests access your RSVP page and shared photo album through a standard web link on any browser (mobile or desktop). They can view their assigned table, meal selection, and schedule without downloading an app or creating an account.
